Is happiness a choice? Yes! Many happy people realize happiness is a choice and it’s up to them to intentionally choose it every single day. Happy people are not held hostage by their circumstances and they do not seek happiness in people or possessions

Madelyn pursued theatre as the focus of her education after high school, stage managing many productions in Toronto and across Canada. Eventually she settled in Calgary with her husband, raising a family. The wellness field always was an influence even from an early age, regularly going to chiropractors and getting massages. This inspired a path towards being involved with Britannia Bodywork and Wellness which in turn led to Emotional Wisdom Training. Madelyn presented the importance of Happiness.
Meaning of Happiness The term happiness is used in the context of mental or emotional states, including positive or pleasant emotions ranging from contentment to intense joy. Aristotle said: “Happiness is the meaning and the purpose of life, the whole aim…of human existence.”
Ralph Marston, an American influencer, said: “Happiness is a choice, not a result. Nothing will make you happy until you choose to be happy. No person will make you happy unless you decide to be happy. Your happiness will not come to you. It will only come from you.”
In Olivia Telford’s book “Hygge” she says “It is the deep-felt necessity of relaxing our souls, allowing us to cast aside our worries and enjoy something that fills a present need for our emotional and mental wellbeing.”
